As a wildlife veterinarian, I was shocked and saddened to read on the BBC that telazol was being used in wild tigers after American zoo veterinarians knew to stop using the drug in tigers almost 2 decades ago. Not to use telazol was probably the first thing I learned about tiger medicine in college. Thank you for posting this.
